Geology 101

My dreams are subjected to rocky horror.

This page is about a recurring dream that haunts my sleep. It's an episodic saga; with the overarching storyline being I graduated college by mistake. I wasn't supposed to graduate because I hadn't taken Geology 101. This is a huge problem because if my employer found out I'd be fucking screwed, so I've been attempting various ways to take and pass this class.

But something bizarre always happens, and I wake with the issue unresolved, only to be haunted by it in a night in the near future.

Some things that have happened, to the best of my memory:

That's what i can remember. I'm going to start logging more lore here.

It will be really funny if I stop having these dreams as soon as I publish this page.

I had that dream again where they let me graduate from college by mistake, and I was supposed to take a geology 101 class before graduating.

I might've talked about this dream before, comes up a lot for some reason when I sleep. The class is hard as shit because the exams are completely nonsensical, because a senile professor is teaching it. There's only room for 20 people for the online course, so the rest of us have to go in person. There was a whole other dream about me trying to get into the online course, and going to the school admin office to inquire about it, but instead I was led by the office admin into a fever dream of japanese tea houses and scaling cliffs with massive roman statues that came to life. and i fell off a cliff and experienced ego death.

so i didn't get to sign up for the online course.

in this dream, i was commuting to school by rollerskate because i crashed my car. my mom was also talking to me through the go pro strapped to my chest--not sure why, but the notable thing about this instance of my mother talking to me in a dream is that she didn't negatively impact it in any way.

this is an extremely rare occurrence.

so, i was struggling to get up this hill because i don't know anything about how to rollerskate up a hill. i don't know why i opted for rollerskates, but i do remember having the thought, "how about i just take off the rollerskates?" and ignoring it. so up the hill i climb with the rollerskates.

when i got to the top of the hill, i met a bunch of skater dudes chilling by the next part of my commute: the downhill ramp made of human skin. it was a near vertical drop, before it lauched you into the air at the bottom. the ramp wasn't a patchwork of human skin--it looked more like someone's back, but the spine was bent inward at the top, and flaired out at the bottom. and this ramp was the width of a road on a highway, and about half a mile long.

i watched myself outside myself go down the ramp, but i'm not sure what happened. when i was thrown into the air, it looked like my body shattered, like a broken window. but there were streaks of purple, yellow, and orange in my vision at this point, so im not sure if what i saw was actually the truth of what had happened.

and that was that day's commute to geology 101.
